As an OT, I’ve spent much of my life working with patients who face the daily challenges of managing lymphedema and other forms of edema. The spark for Alta Medical came from those years spent with patients and therapists—listening to their frustrations and needs when it came to compression therapy. My son, Kyle, shared my passion for improving patient care, and together, we decided to come back into the compression space. That’s how Alta Medical was born: a family effort driven by a commitment to innovation and compassionate care.
Working alongside Kyle again has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. He brings fresh perspectives and an incredible drive to everything we do, complementing my clinical background with his vision for practical, patient-focused solutions. From the start, we’ve been united by one mission: to make life easier for patients and caregivers.
One of our proudest achievements is the SiennaWrap, a compression wrap designed to address the real-world struggles we saw in clinics and homes alike. Every feature of SiennaWrap was created with patients in mind, combining ease of use with effective compression therapy.

Finger Loops for Easy Application: I know how challenging it can be for someone with limited strength or mobility to handle compression garments. That’s why we included finger loops to give users better leverage. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in independence.
Anatomical Design: Traditional wraps often fit like a generic tube, but people aren’t shaped like that. SiennaWrap contours to the natural shape of the limb, providing a comfortable, secure fit that moves with the body.
Adjustable, Customizable Straps: Life changes day to day, and so do people’s needs for compression. Our adjustable straps provide flexibility and ensure a snug fit without causing gapping or discomfort.
Safe & Consistent Design: We added a gentle curve to the wrap to reduce the risk of circulatory issues, ensuring it applies consistent, even pressure without constricting blood flow.
Durable, High-Performance Fabric: Patients need products they can rely on. That’s why we chose breathable, latex-free fabric that can stand up to over 5,000 pulls—ensuring durability and comfort over time.
Creating SiennaWrap was a deeply personal project for us. It’s not just a product; it’s a reflection of the care and consideration we want to bring to every patient’s journey. We’re proud to offer a tool that empowers users to take control of their therapy while maintaining comfort and dignity.
