Vertical channels from ankle to groin provide directional flow distal to proximal. This garment style is appropriate for patients who have intact lymph nodes but exhibit lymphatic insufficiency, edema, or indurate tissue. Vertical channels are appropriate for directing fluid to the popliteal and inguinal lymph nodes.

Sigvaris Natural Rubber Thigh High w/Waist Attachment
The Sigvaris 500 Natural Rubber series is the gold standard in compression therapy. This is ideal for patients with more serious indications or long-term therapy needs. Fabric has a very low fatigue rate of 1-2%. Some fabrics can relax up to 15% during the course of a day.
Recommendations include chronic venous insufficiency, swelling, venous stasis ulcers, lymphedema and post-thrombotic syndrome. Manufactured from double-covered natural rubber to offer the greatest degree of elasticity and durability. Made from 70% nylon, 30% natural latex rubber.

This is the work horse in the Juzo line of compression thigh highs. Varin/Dynamic offers the highest containment of any circular knit fabric. If you suffer from moderate to severe edema, lighter weight fabrics can cut into the flesh, causing rings and folds. This is much less likely to happen with Varin.
